And we have winter

We woke up to a couple of inches of snow this morning – not much, granted, but enough to send me rushing to replenish the bird feeder and then to pick up the camera. The birds took less than two hours to empty the mealworm tray, bless them. Less variety of visitor today, just starlings, Mrs Blackbird, a sparrow and a great tit. (Recently we’ve also had blue tits, a dunnock and a goldfinch.)

So I managed to get a few birdy pictures, though they’re not great, and lots of others of various plants under the white stuff.
